The point design in the center medallion is repeated around the border, bring the overall pattern together. Because of the intricate nature of the quilt it requires a higher level of expertise to piece the quilt. |

| This lovely mariner's compass quilt is pieced and handquilted. The solid and print burgandy fabrics are accented by medium blue, navy, light yellow prints, and solid ivory. The mariners compass pattern is a very striking design with it's many points and small pieces. The pieced border with points is on all four sides (only pictured on three) with a burgandy border on the outside to finish it off. The fabrics used are cottton and cotton blends.
